The Skyscraper Area returns us to the outdoors with a free-roam style of level found in the first stage. You'll have a series of randomized missions to go through while . This stage has no ground below the buildings so you'll need to climb to the top and soar across the sky. Falling will cause damage, so avoid getting knocked off the side of the buildings and complete missions until you're prompted to face Karai.

In the disarm the bombs mission you'll be put in the building that is under construction. Walk around the bottom floor of it that's open to you and disarm the explosives while fending off the orange Foot Clan ninjas that throw bombs at you. Throwing shuriken at the ones with bags of bombs on their back whill cause them to explode to clear enemies quickly while your teammates work on the explosives on the ground. Disarm four of them to progress.

Sometimes disarming the bomb is not enough and you'll need to escort bombs as a different mission. The escorting enemy weapons mission shows a weird device that is kinda spikey on the ground being guarded by enemies. You and another turtle will need to stand near the device and it will become magnetized between you and you'll be able to move freely with the device between you as you run, jump, glide, and climb. If your  duo gets too far apart however then the device will demagnitize and won't follow you anymore. Be very careful to not let this happen while you're gliding. Transport the weapon to a waypoint marked on your screen to get rid of it. You'll be required to do this two times.

A unique mission to this area is to protect the crane cargo. Next to the building under construction is a giant golden statue being held by a crane. You'll be tasked to defeat all enemies that spawn nearby and prevent the cargo from taking as much damage as possible. There is no time limit so just carefully stay on the cargo and keep the enemy focused on fighting you and not on hitting the cargo. After three waves your mission will have been a success.

A common mission in this game is to destroy all enemies. You may encounter this across every stage, but in this specific level is an encounter that may be difficult for you. Atop a very tall building on ledges where there isn't much room to fight are a few turrets and stone golems using them. You'll also see helicopters flying around the building. It is hard to sneak in, but you'll need to get to these turrets to shoot down the helicopters. Try crawling up the building to the ledge from below and quickly taking out the golem with a Takedown, then gun down the helicopter. Repeat this until you've destroyed all the enemies.

EditBoss fight

After you've completed enough missions you'll be prompted to showdown with Karai. She is waiting for you at the building under construction. When you arrive she voices her displeasure with your existance and then vows to end you. That's not very nice and neither are her attacks. She fights similar to you with quick slashes and parries. When she begins to spin she parries all attacks, but when she stops spinning she is open to an attack. Attempt to beat her down after her attacks fail to connect. Her signature move is her Teleport Attack that allows her to quickly jump from wherever she is to her foe. Keep your eyes on her and don't let her surprise you with this. After a third of her life is drained she will call upon the Foot to aid her in this fight making it the only boss fight to include henchmen. The Foot Clan ninjas appear and Karai waits a moment before re-entering the frey. Try to eliminate as many of the ninjas as possible before resuming the fight with her. Parry well and use all of your Ninjutsu to overcome the toughest boss yet.
