Hulk Hogan was suspended for three years.

Hulk Hogan is officially back in the WWE Hall of Fame.

WWE released a statement announcing Hogan has been reinstated into the Hall of Fame following a three-year suspension. Hogan was fired by WWE in 2015 and suspended from the Hall of Fame after a 2006 tape was posted featuring the former wrestler making racist and inflammatory comments.

WWE has given Hogan a "second chance" after he made a variety of public apologies and volunteering to work with young people. WWE's statement on the matter is below:

After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame.

Earlier this year, several reports suggested Hogan was set for a potential return to the WWE.
